Italy repulsed a cyber attack from Russia on “Eurovision” during the final of the competition. This was reported by Reuters with reference to the Italian police.
“Italian police prevented pro-Russian hacker attacks during Eurovision. has launched several cyber attacks on the network infrastructure of the hacker group “Killnet” and its affiliate “Legion”, – said in a statement.

The unsuccessful attack of the group “Legion”, which began at 22:11 (Kyiv time) lasted a little over half an hour, and ended at 22:43.
After the attack, the disappointment of its participants is visible. Stopping the attack is explained by the mistakes of the organizers. In particular, Russian hackers have discovered that it is possible to vote not only through the Eurovision site, but also via SMS.
