The musicians also added that the Ukrainian and Polish peoples experienced similar periods of struggle, so the song is based on real feelings.

“We know how it is to fight for your piece of land, because we are not guests on this planet. We are owners who want the light of warmth and peace to shine through the window of every home. Glory to Ukraine!”, they added.

Previously, the Ukrainian band together with the Finnish band The Rasmus recorded a cover of the legendary song In The Shadows.

We would like to remind you that in May, the Kalush Orchestra together with the Serhiy Prytula Foundation held an auction where they sold their award for winning the Eurovision Song Contest. In this way, they collected money for the needs of the Armed Forces of our country.
