Ukrainian group Kalush Orchestra, who won this year's Eurovision Song Contest, has announced a big 24-hour gathering that will take place on Independence Day, August 24. All collected funds will be transferred to the rehabilitation of the defenders of Mariupol and “Azovstal”.
The members of the band offer everyone willing to donate 24 hryvnias to a specially created bank at “Monobank”. The details are promised to be published at 00:01 on August 24.

“We thought that it was a successful magic of numbers: August 24, 24 hours, 24 hryvnias. Such an amount can be afforded by any Ukrainian, both within the country and abroad. Well, we are introducing a limited time in order to warm up people in time to make their contribution to this great cause”, – the band's frontman Oleg Psyuk says about the campaign.
Starting from the morning of August 24, the members of the Kalush Orchestra promise to talk about the progress of the collection on the pages in social networks.
