Jamala presented a touching song about the end of the war

The song was recorded with Freel.

Jamala and Freel presented the song “When the war ends “, dedicated to the full-scale invasion of Russia into Ukraine and the victory we all expected in this war. The song was published on the artist's YouTube channel.

“One day we will wake up to the voice of our relatives and their words: 'We won, the war is over.' I know it will happen. This war will end in our favor because we are fighting for our own. For my home,” Jamala commented on the release of the composition.

The video for the song was directed and illustrated by Maria Oz.

“This is a song about all of us: free, indomitable, invincible. It is about those who are the first to go to the Maidan when injustice is committed, about those whom I meet outside the courts with posters in their hands, about those who defend the country on the front lines or in the rear. This is a song about the very day when we will win and Russia will stop its wars of aggression, of which it has many,” Freel shared.
