Government team responds to computer emergencies stated that the attackers are trying to gain access to the Telegram-accounts of Ukrainians. They are distributing messages with malicious links to the alleged messenger site in order to gain unauthorized access to accounts with the possibility of intercepting the code from the SMS, according to cyber police.

As a result of such attacks, attackers gain access to session data, contacts and correspondence history in the Telegram. Ukrainian cyber experts have blocked the hosting from which the attacks were carried out, but the attackers are moving to hosting in Russia.

Cyberpolice urges Ukrainians to be vigilant and not to follow suspicious links. You also need to set an additional password for two-step Telegram authentication.

It is also necessary to end all sessions in the messenger, except the current one.

If you receive such messages, you must immediately inform the cyber police.

Earlier it became known that hackers send letters to the state authorities of Ukraine with the topic “Wage arrears”. It contained attachments with malicious files.
