Ukrainian women won in all finals.
In Rome, Italy, at the 2022 European Championship < strong>from water sports, the artistic swimming competition ended, the overall victory of which was won by Ukraine.
The Ukrainian team was represented in eight disciplines out of twelve, and the Ukrainian women won in all the finals , in which they competed.
This allowed our team to win 8 gold awards for the first time in history and win the medal tally of the tournament. It should be noted that the last time Russia managed to do something similar was in 2018.
Ukrainian athletes managed to overtake the teams of Italy, Spain and Austria.
Synchronized swimming is a water sport related to performance in water different figures to the music. In 2017, the International Swimming Federation renamed synchronized swimming to artistic swimming in order to increase the popularity of this sport.
