Ukrainian Boldyrev won the gold of the European multi-sport climbing championship

An athlete from Ukraine won an award in Munich.

Ukrainian Daniil Boldyrev won the gold medal in speed climbing at the 2022 European multi-sport championship in Munich (Germany).

Boldyrev overtook Polish representative Martin Zenski in the decisive race. Frenchman Guillaume Moreau took third place.

It is worth noting that Daniil Boldyrev is a two-time world champion in speed climbing (2014, 2021). He also has a victory at the European Championship (2020) and three silver medals at the continental championship (2015, 2017, 2019).

At the multi-sport Euro-2022, competitions are held in cycling, beach volleyball, gymnastics, table tennis, rowing kayaking and canoeing, athletics, academic rowing and triathlon. A total of 177 sets of medals will be drawn.

Ukraine will be represented at the European Championship, which will end on August 21, by 161 athletes, and a total of 4,700 participants will compete at the Euro.

At Euro-2018, which was debut, the national team of Ukraine won 26 awards and took eighth place in the medal tally.
