Space company Firefly Aerospace successfully launched the second rocket Alpha. It took place from the Wadenberg base of the US Space Force.
As the founder of the company and its former co-owner, Ukrainian businessman Max Polyakov, wrote on Facebook, the colors of the flag of Ukraine were applied to the rocket. “This is a message to all those who can read between the lines. Glory to Ukraine!”, Polyakov wrote.

As noted by Space.com , the rocket delivered several microsatellites into orbit. This was Alpha's second orbital launch attempt. The first took place in September 2021, but then one of the engines of the launch vehicle failed, which led to the failure of the mission.
The second launch turned out to be much more successful. 2.5 minutes after liftoff, the stage rockets successfully separated, and five minutes after that, the second stage reached orbit.

According to Bloomberg, there were fears that American space technologies could reach Ukraine, Russia or other countries.
