Fundraising for humanitarian aid to Ukraine will take place during and after the broadcast.
The marathon will be broadcast on all Ukrainian TV channels from 18:30 Kyiv time.
The organizers want to draw the attention of the world community to the humanitarian problems in Ukraine that provoked Russia's military action. The key messages of the project are #StopWarInUkraine, #stoprussia, #NoFlyZoneUA, #CloseTheSky, #StandWithUkraine.
The two-hour marathon will be broadcast by TV channels from about 20 countries in Europe and the world, as well as streaming platforms and social networks – musicians, artists, public activists, opinion leaders, actors, artists, athletes, volunteers from around the world. Funds will be raised before, during and after the broadcast to address the greatest humanitarian issues. The money will go to the official accounts of the NBU of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine. Subsequently, they will be sent for food needs, clothing, footwear, accommodation for refugees, provision of medicines and medical supplies, one-time cash benefits, etc.
