On Friday, June 10, a new project started in the Art Arsenal – ” An exhibition about our feelings “. The exhibition focuses on the question of how our perception of art is changing (and is changing at all) through the prism of the ongoing war.

“ It is still impossible to reflect on everything that is happening to us during the war, and it is probably too early. But we still return to this experience again and again – in thought and conversation. How do we understand art now? How do we feel about it? Do we read classic plots that until recently seemed hopelessly trivial, as analogies to the past? Are we looking for metaphors to describe our experience? The war changed our plans and forced us to focus on new experiences, looking for artistic equivalents of our own feelings. The ambivalence of our emotions and thoughts is what we are trying to say with this exhibition, “the Art Arsenal notes.

The exhibition presents works from the collection of the Art Arsenal. Part of this project is to talk about the personal experience of the team of the institution, which was recorded in video format. These videos became part of the exhibition.
