Teaser trailer premiered in Kyiv of the film “Bucha”, which will tell about the Russian occupation of settlements in the Kyiv region. According to the creators of the picture, it was based on the events that took place in Bucha, Irpen, Gostomel and Worzel during the occupation in February-April 2022.
The tape will tell about the rescue of 203 local residents by Konstantin Gudauskas, a citizen of Kazakhstan who received political asylum in Ukraine and lives in Bucha. After the start of the full-scale invasion of Russia, thanks to his Kazakh passport, Konstantin got the opportunity to travel to Russian-occupied territories and rescue local residents. He not only saves people, but also sees with his own eyes the atrocities of the occupiers: murders, robberies and rapes.

In the film will also include a scene of the rescue of the famous Ukrainian composer, laureate of the Shevchenko Prize Ihor Poklad, who was in his home in Vorzel during the occupation. Several of the composer's works will become the soundtrack to the picture.
“After it became known in April what was happening in Buch and other cities of Ukraine that were occupied, it became clear that the whole world should learn about the tragedy of the Ukrainian people. We believe that the implementation of this project will help Ukraine attract the attention of the international community and will encourage to increase economic and military aid in the future,” says Oleksandr Shchur, producer of the film “Bucha”.
Filming of the film is planned for December-January, and its premiere will take place on the anniversary of the tragedy. The film was directed by Stanislav Tiunov. The casting of actors for the role in the film “Bucha” will be held by the end of the year, but it is already known that Vyacheslav Dovzhenko will play the main antagonist. , the terrible consequences of the atrocities of the Russian army were discovered in towns and villages. In particular, it is about mass killings of civilians. For example, in Buchi alone, at least 400 people died during the occupation.
