On the evening of March 14, the Metropolitan Opera, one of the leading theaters in the United States and one of the centers of world musical culture, held a concert in support of Ukraine, which has been resisting Russia's attack for 20 days. At the same time, a huge flag of our country was placed on the facade of the theater, and the building itself was illuminated with blue and yellow light.
Bass baritone Vladislav Buyalsky, who sang the anthem of Ukraine, performed on the stage of the Metropolitan Opera during the concert.

The theater noted that the live broadcast of the concert was watched by a “stunning” number of spectators, so the Metropolitan Opera will provide an opportunity to watch it online. It will be possible to do this for seven days, starting from March 15.
The theater also called on the audience to make donations in support of Ukraine.
