North Macedonia and Montenegro refused to participate next year.
In the Eurovision Song Contest , which will be held by Great Britain on behalf of Ukraine in 2023, 37 countries will take part, 31 of them will compete in the semi-finals for a place in the Grand Final, reports the European Broadcasting Union.
The final of the competition will be 10 participants from each semi-final. The representatives of the “Big Five” countries: France, Italy, Germany, Spain and Great Britain, as well as Ukraine, which won the competition this year, automatically go to the finals.

The semi-finals of the competition will be held on May 9 and 11, and the final on May 13.
