Ukrainian Goza won the Junior World Weightlifting Championships with a record

The athlete showed the best result in his weight category.

Ukrainian Bohdan Goza became world champion in weightlifting among juniors at the tournament in Heraklion, Greece.

The 20-year-old athlete became the best in the weight category up to 109 kg. In the jerk, Goza showed a result of 195 kg, which became a new world junior record.

In the push, the Ukrainian conquered the weight of 215 kg. Thus, in the duel Goza with a result of 410 kg became the absolute world champion.

The second place was taken by the Egyptian Ammar Rubayavi Ali (359 kg), and the bronze was won by the Colombian Fernando Bonilla (355 kg).

< In addition, in the weight category up to 102 kg two small bronzes in the jerk (163 kg) and push (195 kg) won Nikita Rubanovsky.

It should be noted that earlier in the tournament gold in the duel weight category Ukrainian Maksym Dombrovskyi won 89 kg, and Svitlana Samulyak won silver in the 55 kg weight category.
