Star football player of Shakhtar < David Neres is not going to return to the Pitmen's position due to the Russian-Ukrainian war.

According to Brazilian media, the footballer is worried about the safety of his family and wants to change the club.

The 25-year-old winger is expected to move to Benfica in July, which is already in talks with Shakhtar.

Neres transferred to Shakhtar from Ajax this winter for 12 million euros, but due to the war he did not make his debut as a member of the Donetsk club.

The football season in Ukraine was suspended, and the club's players were given the opportunity to continue their careers in other teams from FIFA.

Due to the Russian invasion Shakhtar players Alan Patrick, Bohdan Vyunik, Vitao, Tete, Vinicius Tobias, Maicon, Junior Moraes and Fernando have already changed or leased.
