In Irpen, one of the victims of the Russian occupiers was a famous ex-boxer and children's coach Alexei Junkovsky, according to VRINGE.

The Boxing Federation of Ukraine reported that the Russians shot Junkovsky right in the boxing hall.

It is known that the murder of the coach took place just before the full liberation of Irpen by the Ukrainian army, which became known on March 28.

Alexei Junkovsky is a four-time winner of the world championships among servicemen. He also participated in match matches Ukraine – Russia, Ukraine – USA, Ukraine – Cuba. In recent years, he has successfully worked as a coach at the youth level.
