Ukrainian tennis players failed to overcome the barrier on the way to the final eight.
Ukraine's women's tennis team defeated by the United States in the qualification of the Billy Jean King Cup.
The Ukrainians suffered two defeats on the first day of the game – Diana Yastremskaya and Katarina Zavatskaya came on the court.
On the second day Yastremskaya and Zavatskaya were able to win, and fate the match was decided by a pair meeting. In it, Lyudmila Kichenok and Diana Yastremska failed to beat Jessica Pegula and Aisha Muhammad. The final score was 3: 2 in favor of the United States.
It should be noted that the Ukrainians took part in the match without spare tennis players. The national team of Ukraine failed to make it to the finals of the eighth tournament, which will feature the best teams in the world.
