Today, August 31, the men's national team of Ukraine < strong>volleyball held its third match in the group of the World Championship.
Ukrainians in a strong-willed style beat the Puerto Rico national team in four games with a score of 24:26, 25:19, 25:16, 25:19.

Thus, Ukraine won the second victory in the group and from second place made its way to 1/8 finals, where he will play against the Netherlands team. Ukrainians will play in the playoffs of the World Cup for the first time in 24 years.
Earlier in the group, Ukraine lost to the famous Serbs and beat Tunisia.
Let us remind you that in September 2021, the men's national team of Ukraine to get to the the 2022 World Championship lacked one licensed place.
However, due to the full-scale invasion of Russia into Ukraine, our national team took the place of the suspended Russian team.
We note that the 2022 Volleyball World Championship was supposed to take place in in ten cities of Russia, but was moved to Poland and Slovenia.
