The museum of the legendary Ukrainian football player was burned in occupied Horlivka

The city has been under occupation for eight years.

Legend of Ukrainian football Serhiy Rebrov told about the situation in his native Horlivka, Donetsk region.

“It has become even worse than after 2014. I do not communicate with anyone from Horlivka and I am not interested in what is happening there now. I know that burned down my museum because of my pro-Ukrainian position.

I have no friends left in Horlivka, all sensible people who had the opportunity left. My mother remained acquainted there, she called them, but I it's not interesting, “Rebrov was quoted as saying by fanday.net.

It will be recalled that in June last year, Rebrov became the head coach of Al Ain from the UAE. The 48-year-old native of Horlivka also coached Dynamo and Hungarian Ferencvaros.

During his time as a footballer, he was remembered for his performances for Dynamo, English Tottenham and Turkish Fenerbahce.
