Football player of the national team of Ukraine and Atalanta Viktor Kovalenko will spend the next season on loan from “Specia”.
Italian clubs have officially signed an agreement with the 26-year-old football player. “Spezia” announced that it will be obliged to buy out the player's contract if the team retains its registration in Serie A at the end of the season.
Viktor Kovalenko joined Atalanta from Shakhtar Donetsk last February. He failed to gain a foothold in Ruslan Malinovskyi's club and went on loan to “Specia”.
For “Specia”, the midfielder played 26 matches, scored 1 goal and provided 4 assists. The “Eagles” took 16th place in the Serie A standings and managed to avoid relegation.
