The International Skating Union has deprived Russia of the Figure Skating Grand Prix

The organization has imposed sanctions against Russians and Belarusians.

The International Union of Skaters (ISU) deprived Russia of its rights holding the Grand Prix of figure skating in the season-2022/23.

According to the press service of the organization, the tournament was supposed to take place on November 25-27 this year, but now Russia will not be able to accept it due to military invasion to Ukraine.

The Union has condemned the Russian leadership for deciding to start a war in Ukraine. It is forbidden to hold any competitions under the auspices of ISU in Russia.

It should also be noted that due to military aggression, Russian and Belarusian figure skaters are prohibited from participating in international tournaments.

Earlier it was reported that figure skaters from Kharkiv performed at the World Championships and broke the applause of the stands .
