23 -year-old football player took advantage of the FIFA rule and suspended his contract with the “miners” until June 30, 2023. The player's agreement with the Londoners is calculated for this term.
At the same time, Solomon's current agreement with Shakhtar expires at the end of 2023, so the player will be able to sign a preliminary contract with another club already next summer.
Initially, Shakhtar and Fulham negotiated a full transfer, but as a result, the English club took advantage of the FIFA rule that allows UPL legionnaires to suspend their contracts due to war.
Manor Solomon played for Shakhtar since 2019 after the transfer from “Maccabi” (Petah Tikva). In total, the midfielder played 106 matches for Donetsk, scored 22 goals and made 9 assists in all competitions.
