The Court of Arbitration for Sport rejected all of Russia's football appeals against suspension

The occupiers remain without football.

The International Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) rejected the appeals of the Russian Football Union to FIFA and UEFA about the exclusion of the Russian national team from international tournaments, the organization's press service reports.

CAS also rejected the appeals of CSKA, Dynamo, Zenit and Sochi” to UEFA's decision to suspend Russian football clubs from European Cups.

We will remind you that on February 24, Russian President Putin made an urgent statement about conducting a special military operation on the territory of Ukraine, launching a large-scale invasion of Ukrainian cities.

After that, UEFA excluded Russian clubs from European Cups, and the Russian national team was deprived of the right to play in qualifying matches for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

On May 2, UEFA decided to exclude Russian clubs and national teams from the international season -2022/2023. Next season, Russian teams will not be able to take part in the European Cups, the UEFA Nations League, the U21 European Championship, the Women's Euro 2022, as well as the qualification for the 2023 Women's World Cup.

It should be noted that the FIFA Congress held at the end March, did not consider the issue of Russia's exclusion from the organization.

Earlier it was reported that FIFA removed all references to Russia from the World Cup 2022 promo.
