English Premier League due to full-scale invasion Russia in Ukraine has suspended the contract with the Russian TV channel “Match TV” for broadcasting matches of the APL in the aggressor country, reports The Athletic.
The agreement with the broadcaster was calculated until 2028 and was evaluated more than 50 million euros, and the decision to suspend the contract was made at a general meeting of clubs.
Note that back in March, the Premier League refused to cooperate with another Russian broadcaster – Okko Sport.
After that, Russian sports began to plunge into complete isolation. In fact, there are no federations left that have excluded the Russians from their competitions.
