SpaceX has successfully launched a rocket with the first fully commercial mission to the ISS

Launch was carried out under a contract with Axiom Space.

SpaceX successfully launches Falcon 9 launch vehicle with the manned spacecraft Crew Dragon on board. It will reach the International Space Station with the first fully commercial crew . The launch was commissioned by Axiom Space.

The launch vehicle was launched from the Cape Canaveral spaceport. The first stage of Falcon 9 successfully landed on a floating platform in the Atlantic Ocean.

Crew Dragon will make a series of orbits around the Earth before docking with the ISS, which is scheduled for Saturday, April 9.

The crew consists of four people. The commander was a former NASA astronaut, Axiom Vice President Michael Lopez-Allegria. The pilot is American businessman Larry Connor. Other functions are performed by Canadian investor Mark Petty and Israeli businessman, former pilot Eitan Stibbe.

In total, they will spend 10 days in space, eight of which are on board the ISS.
