On March 24, the national teams of Poland and Scotland held a charity friendly match in support of Ukraine.
The fight at Hampden Park in Glasgow was held in partnership with UNICEF – 10 pounds from each ticket will be donated to support Ukraine, which opposes Russia's military invasion.
There were many Ukrainian flags at the game – even corner flags were decorated in yellow and blue.
The match ended in a draw with a score of 1: 1. In the 68th minute, the Scots were led by Kieran Tierney, and in added time Krzysztof Pentek equalized.
It is worth noting that the Scots must play a match with Ukraine in June in the semifinals of the clashes of selection for the 2022 World Cup. Poland has already reached its final after Russia was suspended from the tournament.
