Ukrainian Bellator welterweight champion Yaroslav Amosov will not defend his title against Britain's Michael Page in May.

This was reported by Bellator MMA.

The match was scheduled for May 13 in London. For Amosov, this would be the first defense of the title. Paige will now fight for the title of interim welterweight champion against Logan Storley.

After the start of Russia's military invasion, Yaroslav Amosov returned to Ukraine and joined the territorial defense.

Recall that Amosov became the champion of the Bellator welterweight organization in June last year, when he defeated Douglas Lima by unanimous decision of the judges and took away his title.
