The defender of the Kiev club has died.
Ex-defender of “Dynamo” Vasily Yurievich Turyanchik passed away on March 31, according to the official website of Kyiv residents.
The heart of the legendary football player “Dynamo” of the late 1950s – 1960s stopped at the 87th year of life.
“I was deeply saddened by the sad news of the death of Vasily Yurevich Turyanchik. Vasily Yurevich was a representative of a constellation of Transcarpathian football students who made a name for themselves in the Dynamo T-shirt.

As a member of Dynamo, Turyanchik became the USSR champion four times and won the Cup twice. He played 308 games and scored 12 goals in the USSR championships.
