From the morning of July 9, Russian troops shelled the Ingulets neighborhood. As a result, a 41-year-old woman died on the spot, and Kurdel and her father were hospitalized with injuries. As a result, it was not possible to save the girl.
At the time of the shelling, Daria and her father were training on the sports field.
Daria Kurdel is the champion of Ukraine in sports dances and a multiple winner of international competitions . She worked as a coach and organizer of competitions.
