Hackers hacked the UK Ministry of Defense Twitter and YouTube accounts

Criminals have published a video about cryptocurrency and advertising.

The Ministry of Defense of Great Britain announced that hackers managed to hack into his Twitter and YouTube accounts. The attackers published videos about cryptocurrency and advertising.

Later, access to the accounts was regained, and the department published an explanation of the incident.

“We are aware of the hacking of the army's Twitter and YouTube accounts, and the investigation is ongoing. The Army takes information security very seriously and addresses this issue. It would be inappropriate to comment further until the investigation is complete,” the statement said.

Remember, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia, the Security Service of Ukraine has neutralized more than a thousand hacker attacks against the IT systems of strategically important objects of Ukraine. In particular, among the latest special operations, in Kyiv, cyber specialists of the Security Service neutralized a group that leaked data about defense enterprises and special institutions in the field of communications and information protection.
