For the first time in 24 years, there will not be a single player from the UPL at the World Cup

The continuous series with the representation of the Ukrainian league at the World Cup has lasted for the last 5 tournaments.

Since 2002, the national teams have always included representatives of the clubs of the championship of Ukraine.

The World Cup in Qatar will be held from November 21 to December 18, 2022 in seven cities: Doha, Lusail, Al-Wakri, Al-Khori, Al-Rayani, Umm Salalah and Madinat al-Shamali.

The national team of Ukraine reached the final of the qualifying tournament for the World Cup, but Oleksandr Petrakov's men there lost to Wales – 0:1.
