Kyiv “Dynamo” held a match of the third round of group B of the Europa League away against the French “Rennes”.
Mirce Lucescu's team suffered a defeat with a score of 1:2.
“Rennes” started the match aggressively and took the lead in the 23rd minute when Terje closed a pass from his partner with a shot into the top corner of the goal. In ten minutes, Tsygankov equalized the score, beating the goalkeeper for the second time after a pass from Buyalskyi.
In the second half, the French continued to press, but the Kyivans confidently coped with the opponent's attacks until the last minutes. Only a mistake by Popov allowed “Rennes” to score: “Dynamo” defender gave the ball to Doue, who got close to the goal and beat Boyk.
