Athletes from the occupying country and its partner received another disqualification.
The Assembly of the Diamond League decided to exclude athletes from Russia and Belarus from the competition, according to the official website of the prestigious athletics tournament.
The move was part of a campaign to isolate Russian sport after Russia launched a military invasion of Belarus.
The press service of the tournament noted that they do not see the possibility of inviting these athletes even in neutral status.
A similar decision was made by the organizers of the Joint European Championship 2022 in summer sports. The tournament will take place from 11 to 21 August in Munich.

Earlier it was reported that the International Biathlon Union has launched a procedure to remove Russia and Belarus .
