Arena “Desna” suffered huge damage.
The head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration Vyacheslav Chaus reported about the fact that a non-explosive FAB-500 projectile was found at the stadium of the local Desna team. Local workers have already begun clearing the stadium.
It will be recalled that on February 24, Russian President Putin issued an urgent statement on a special military operation in Ukraine, launching a large-scale invasion of Ukrainian cities. On the night of the war in Chernihiv, a rocket hit the stadium, the second was hit by hail, and the third by aircraft.
There was also a small Desna base near the stadium, which was also destroyed by the Russian occupiers.
