Kyiv has to overcome three qualifying rounds before the group stage of the tournament.
Kyivske Dynamo after the end of the national championships got all potential rivals in the new draw of the Champions League – the team will start in qualifying.
The wards of Mircea Lucescu will start the tournament in the second qualifying round. Turkish Fenerbahce and Cypriot AEK became possible rivals for the Ukrainians – both teams became vice-champions of their countries.
The draw for this stage will take place on June 15.
In the third qualifying round, possible rivals Dynamo is Monaco (France), Mittjuland (Denmark), Sturm (Austria) and Saint-Gilloise (Belgium).
In the playoffs, Kyiv can play with Portuguese “Benfica” or Scottish “Rangers”, if they get there.
Kyiv will end the European Cup campaign if they lose at the start of the Champions League qualifiers. In the next stages, it is possible to continue the struggle in the Europa League and the Conference League. Three victories will give the Ukrainian team a ticket to the Champions League group. Shakhtar Donetsk will definitely play there.
It will be recalled that Dynamo took second place in the last UPL draw, which was stopped due to Russia's military invasion.
