Ukrainian footballer Yaroslav Rakitsky maintains form as a member of Kharkiv's Metalist after leaving St. Petersburg's Zenit.
According to Tribuna.com, the defender remains a free agent, but trains and plays in friendly matches for the Ukrainian club.
Rakitsky took part in the sparring match with Istanbul. It is worth noting that “Metalist” continues to be at a training camp in Turkey after the Russian military invasion of Ukraine.
The 32-year-old footballer decided to leave Zenit after the Russian attack on Ukraine and terminated his contract with the club by mutual consent. At the same time, Anatoly Timoshchuk continues to work as a coach in the Russian club.
