Abramovich's era is over: Chelsea has officially announced the sale of the club

The club no longer belongs to a Russian.

“Chelsea” > announced on its official website that the club has acquired new owners.

They will be a consortium that includes American businessmen Todd Boeley, Mark Voltaire, and the Swiss Hansjörg Wiss.

They will buy Chelsea for 2.5 billion pounds, and guarantee another 1.75 billion investment in the development of the club. The 2.5 billion for which Chelsea was acquired will go to charity, including aid to Ukrainian refugees. It will be recalled that Roman Abramovich came under sanctions after Russia's invasion of Ukraine and was forced to sell the London club.
