According to the results of the meeting, a “very powerful” joint statement will be made, the President's Office says.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky was invited to the G7 summit , which will take place on May 8, said the head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak.

” As a result of the meeting, a very strong joint statement will be adopted, which will contain not only general phrases in support of Ukraine's right to self-defense, but also an announcement of very specific actions. The whole civilized world supports our independence, protection of territorial integrity, economic and energy security. Ukraine will recover quickly. And for the country that waged this terrible, unjust and bloody war, the consequences will be very, very sad, “the statement said.
