Zelensky has appointed ambassadors to nine countries

The President also signed a number of decrees awarding the military.

On May 4, 2022, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky appointed new ambassadors to nine countries. Information about this appeared on the official website of the head of state.

According to Decree № 299/2022 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Cuba was appointed Irina Kostyuk .

In accordance with Decrees № 300/2022, № 301/2022 and № 302/2022 Yuriy Pivovarov was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to three African countries at once – the Republic of Senegal, the Republic of Guinea and the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire.

According to Decree № 303/2022, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the United Arab Emirates was appointed Dmitry Senik.

According to Decree 4 304/2022, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Montenegro was appointed Oleg Gerasimenko.

Pursuant to Decree № 305/2022, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Northern Macedonia was appointed Larisa Dir.

According to Decree № 306/2022, Andrija Taran was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Slovenia.

According to Decree № 307/2022, Igor Prokopchuk was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Romania.
