Usyk, dressed as a Cossack, sang “Red viburnum” before the rematch with Joshua

Boxers met with journalists before the fight.

On August 17, the final press conference was held in Saudi Arabia conference dedicated to the rematch of the Ukrainian IBF, IBO, WBA Super and WBO world champion Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs) and British boxer Anthony Joshua (24-2, 22 KOs).

The Ukrainian arrived to communicate with journalists in the guise of a Cossack, and at the end of the event, a traditional “duel of glances” between boxers took place. After its completion, Joshua left, and Usyk, with the support of his team, performed “Red Viburnum” – a song that symbolizes the struggle of Ukrainians against Russian military aggression after February 24.

The rematch will take place on August 20 in the city of Jeddah (Saudi Arabia). All the titles held by the Ukrainian, as well as the belt of The Ring magazine, will be at stake.

We remind you that the first fight of the boxers took place on September 25 last year. Then Usyk won by a unanimous decision of the judges and took all the belts from his opponent.
