Ukrainian world champion in kickboxing died in battles for Mariupol

The athlete was in “Azov”.

Ukrainian kickboxer Maxim Kagal died in the fights for Mariupol on March 25, the athlete's coach Oleg Skirta said on Facebook.

“Sleep well, Brother, the earth is your down, we will avenge you,” the coach wrote.

Kagal is the first ISKA world kickboxing champion among adults in the Ukrainian national team.

We will remind, on February 24 the president of the Russian Federation Putin made the urgent statement on carrying out special military operation in the territory of Ukraine, having begun large-scale invasion of the Ukrainian cities.

Mariupol continues to be under siege by Russian occupiers, and many people remain in basements. The city is almost completely destroyed.
