Ukrainian judokas entered the World Championships, despite the participation of Russians and Belarusians

The preliminary composition of the team included 10 judokas: 6 men and 4 women.

Ukraine will be represented by Artem Lesiuk (60 kg), Bohdan Yadov (66 kg), Gevorg Manukyan, Serhiy Kryvchach (both – 81 kg), Artem Bubir (90 kg), Yakiv Hammo (over 100 kg), Darya Bilodid (57 kg ), Anastasia Antipina (63 kg), Natalia Chistyakova (70 kg), Elizaveta Lytvynenko (78 kg).

The tournament will be held from October 6 to 12 in the Uzbek city of Tashkent.

On June 24, the Judo Federation of Ukraine announced that Ukrainian teams will not compete under the auspices of the IJF, which refuses to eliminate the Russians.
