Ukrainian footballer Bezus wins first trophy with Belgian Ghent

The midfielder helped his team win the Belgian Cup.

Footballer of the national team of Ukraine Roman Bezus won the Belgian Cup as part of “Ghent”.

The Ukrainian team met with “Anderlecht” in the final and after a 0-0 draw during the game won the trophy in the penalty shootout – 4: 3.

In the first half, Bezus came on for the home side. Ukrainian Bohdan Mykhailychenko played the whole game in Anderlecht's reserve.

For 31-year-old Roman Bezus, this is the first trophy in the Belgian club. He moved to Ghent from St. Truiden in January 2019.
