Ukrainian coach Vernidub became the champion of Moldova with the “Sheriff” during his service in the Armed Forces

The Ukrainian team won the early championship.

“Sheriff” headed by Ukrainian Yuriy Vernidub , became the champion of Moldova in the 2021/22 season ahead of schedule.

Tiraspol club defeated Dynamo-Auto (3: 0) in the 26th round and won for the 20th time gold medals of the national championship. The club has 66 points and its pursuer Petrokuba has 55 points.

Next season the team will play in the first qualifying round of the Champions League.

It is worth noting that for Yuri Vernidub this is for the second consecutive championship at the helm of the “Sheriff”. At the same time, after the start of the Russian military invasion, the coach himself temporarily left the club and joined the Armed Forces.
