Ukrainian chess players beat Norway in a charity match

Chess players raised money to help Ukrainians.

The match was held online, and all proceeds will be used to help Ukrainians who suffered from the Russian military invasion.

Ukraine was represented by Vasyl Ivanchuk, Kyrylo Shevchenko, Yuriy Kuzubov and Oleksandr Moiseenko. Norway was represented by the world's best chess player Magnus Carlsen, Aryan Tari, Johan-Sebastian Christiansen and Oscar Gag.

Ukraine did not lose a single round, despite two wins in Carlsen's matches and one in Christiansen's.
