Ainars Bagatskis' team beat the Netherlands team 96:77 away in Almería.

After that, four groups of six European teams were formed – the three best national teams will go to the WC.

The World Basketball Championship will be held in the Philippines, Japan and Indonesia from August 25 to September 10, 2023.
