We also asked the European Broadcasting Union that the next competition after the victory must be held in Ukraine. The EBU agreed that consultations should be continued, but I think we, together with many countries — members of the union, in particular Britain, will achieve a revision of the established rules of the organization,” said Tkachenko.

He also added that Great Britain will finance the Eurovision Song Contest 2023. “This is also an important aspect, because even in peaceful conditions it costs a lot of money, and in military conditions, I think it is more logical to spend this money on weapons for the Ukrainian army,” Tkachenko emphasized.
