Ukraine lost to Slovakia in the first match to qualify for the European Youth Football Championship

The teams played a productive match.

On Friday, September 23, at Slovakia's local national team met Ukraine in the first match of the play-off qualification for the 2023 European Youth Football Championship.

The Ukrainian youth team recovered twice during the match, but the Ukrainians failed to respond to the hosts' third accurate shot – 3 :2. Vyunnyk and Vanat scored goals for the Ukrainian national team.

It should be noted that the Ukrainian national team is coached by the legendary ex-Dnipro and Dynamo player Ruslan Rotan. Under the leadership of the 40-year-old specialist, the team failed to make it to Euro-2021.
