Ukraine launches interactive map of cultural monuments destroyed or damaged during full-scale war with Russia

As of April 1 this year, 150 monuments and cultural sites have been affected by the Russian invasion.

Anyone can join in filling it out by sending photos or video evidence of the destruction of cultural objects as a result of the war to the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy through the resource: https://culturecrimes.mkip.gov.ua. Cultural objects are divided according to three criteria:

  • destroyed – in need of complete reconstruction
  • partially destroyed – in need of major repairs
  • damaged – preserved the overall appearance and interior, so in need of pure restoration or “cosmetic” repair
