Ukraine finished the 2022 World Games with the best result in the history of performances

Ukrainians won six medals on the last day of the competition.

The World Games ended in Birmingham, America -2022, at which Ukraine showed the best result in its history.

On the last day of the competition, Ukrainians won six medals in two sports.

At the same time, five of six awards were won in Muay Thai. Ihor Lyubchenko (up to 63.5 kg), Oleg Primachov (up to 91 kg) and Anastasia Kulinich (up to 48 kg) became champions there. Oleksandr Yefimenko (up to 71 kg) finished the performance with silver, and Vladyslav Mykytas (up to 57 kg) won the bronze.

In gymnastics, the men's team, which included Stanislav Kukuruza, Yuriy Savka, Yuriy Push and Taras Yarush , won a bronze medal in group exercises.

Ukraine took the final third place in the medal standings and showed its best result in the history of performances at the World Games. The athletes have 45 medals – 16 gold, 12 silver and 17 bronze.

This is a record for Ukraine in terms of the number of awards in total, as well as the best result of gold medals in the entire history of performances.
